Brief:
To create a corporate identity and stationary for a financial institute that specialises in ethical investments. A professional and sophisticated image was required to reflect a well-established, trustworthy company that invested in its image and approach. This in turn, would give customers the confidence to part with their capital with a feeling of reassurance.
Solution:
The client was vague in their design requirements but had high expectations of the end result. Thus we took the identity through a process of exploring a variety of design approaches and concepts to initially help the client eliminate unsuitable identities from those that echoed the desired brand image. The initial designs were then further developed and underwent further processes of elimination. This helped the client understand and clarify their design needs better, allowing us to produce a final identity that they would be happy and confident with.
The Logo shows the letter ‘L’ and the letter ‘C’ representing the words Lotus and Capital respectively, in an isometric view. The ‘C’ is made up of layers representing capital and its growth. The solidity of the ‘L’ represents the company which is achieving this and is shown to be supporting the ‘C’. The colour scheme of silver, grey and a warm red provide a corporate look with a hint of vibrancy.
